All-Area Offense 2008

The 2008 all-area offense is highlighted by three game-changing running backs, a dominant group of offensive linemen, two play-making receivers, three deserving all-purpose players and a gutsy quarterback that didn’t even play the position last season.
Check Saturday’s edition of The Clanton Advertiser for the all-area defense and the second team selections. Also, see Wednesday’s newspaper for season statistics for our all-area selections and many other players.
All-area selections were made based on coaches’ nominations, the success their teams’ enjoyed and their position.
An effort was made to honor the 25 best players on the first team. So, some players might be listed at a position that isn’t necessarily their best.
