Bears fall at home to Tornadoes

Billingsley fell to 4-5 on the season (the Bears are 4-4 in Class 1A, Region 3) with a 42-12 home loss to Parrish.

The Bears scored on a 23-yard pass from Mario Reese to Raphael Brooks with 9:57 left in the second quarter and on a 24-yard pass from Reese to Brooks with 10:36 remaining in the third quarter.

Lemitress Sheppard was Billingsley’s leading rusher with 142 yards on 14 carries.

Reese completed five passes in 12 attempts for 74 yards.

Carlos Caver led the defensive effort with seven tackles.
